Ular nodded. "That's excellent news brother. So it seems Dragon the next High King of the Tigerobra's came to see me early this morning." Ular said looking at his brother.

"Thank you Prince Cremisi." Phantom said smiling at the two. "Yes I may be your commander but you are still a prince and will be called as such while in the guard." He told the red Tigeronda. "Now off you go. Get plenty of rest." He said.

"Oh did he? And what did he have to say?" Joseph-Hunter asked, bristling slightly at the news of the Tigerobra.

Cremisi chuckled at the name. He didn't know how he was a prince but whatever the albino Tigeronda said or wanted done, he would do it. He knew Kalikasan would be the same. "Shall we head home?" Cremisi asked the green Tigeronda. Kalikasan nodded curtly.

Ular watched Joseph-Hunter and sighed. "Calm down. Dragon was very nice and civil. He came to talk to me about merging the kingdoms when High King Tenebre dies. He was calm and had everything planned out. High King Tenebre has been given a fort night to live. An illness has struck him and he is to old to fight the disease. I'm wanting your opinion. Dragon does not want to be High King, just king and someone else to answer to. What do you think?" Ular asked his brother.

Phantom looked at the young prince as they began to pad away. His father was a good friend of Phantoms father. "I wished you could have met him." He muttered to himself.

Joseph-Hunter watched his brother but listened. "I don't know know, Ular. We aren't really supposed to trust Tigerobra and why wouldn't he want to be High King. It's an honor to even achieve such greatness," he said. "Would he listen to you?"

Cremisi and Kalikasan headed back to the clearing. Inverno had left some meat for them to eat so they settled down to eat the rest of the stag. It was a certainly tasty piece of prey.

Ular looked at his brother, shifting his weight to to his right side. "I see your concern brother, but onw this would mean more territory for all of us. Plus Dragon don't want his father's position. His father was a tyrant and he doesn't want to be seen that way. I trust Dragon, we have been good friends for a long time and he has had every opportunity to hurt or kill me. I believe he will listen to me. He wants to be just a king and leave the major decisions to me. Plus we could use more guards so that we won't have anymore accidents like mine." He said gesturing to he elbow. "I think I may take up his offer. Plus how else are we going to learn to trust each other?" He asked quietly. "We are all needing the extra help with the rogues getting stronger every day, including the lust to kill by my son." He growled.

Phantom padded to the east, heading to his den and his mate. He was happy that he was done for the day and could spend the morning with his mate. He picked up his pace purring at the thought of his mate, and smiled when he saw his den. "Nadir, I'm home." He called waiting for an answer.
Nadir peered out of the den and smiled. She quick ran over to her mate and nuzzled him. "I missed you." She purred.

Joseph-Hunter grumbled slightly but nodded. "Very well, Ular. Do what you must; just know I don't exactly like how it is. I don't want my son hurt in this process, especially since he just joined your guard," he replied. Stephano's hood quivered as he heard that Kalikasan had joined the guard; he'd have to keep a careful eye on him for Joseph-Hunter if he wanted to keep his pelt.

Cremisi finished his meal first, licking around his muzzle to try to catch any blood that he gotten there. He was a much neater eater than Kalikasan was, not to mention his muzzle wouldn't show too much blood like the green Tigeronda. Cremisi started to wash himself as Kalikasan continued to eat; Kalikasan didn't want to disappoint Phantom or his father with his first border duty.

Ular nodded. "I didn't think you would. I'm not completely okay with it, but it's the only logical choice to make Joseph. I want what's best for my kingdom. And this is it. I would rather us all be safe than dead. I know several of the Tigerobra and we shouldn't have a problem, plus there are several female Tigeronda that have been sneaking across the the border lately so this is the best choice." He said softly.

Phantom looked his mate up and down. "Love you are looking less thin. Are you alright?" He asked her.
Nadir looked at him and purred. "I'm fine Phantom. I'm better than fine. I'm pregnant." She said bursting with joy. "I found out today." She continued.

Dragon looked at the border and knew that he was making the best decision. He would announce the merging of the two kingdom to his people after his father died. High King Ular had agreed to give him a few days after the death to announce it. His people would follow anything he asked of him and he knew that. He would tell them that High King Ular was the one they were to listen to over himself.

Joseph-Hunter gently growled but nodded. "Very well. You do know what's best. I just don't want my family hurt and if any Tigerobra stands close to my family, I will hurt them," he growled. Stephano gently pushed his claws out onto the rock he was sitting on, scratching along it to sharpen his claws.

Cremisi continued to wash as Kalikasan finished his piece. Kalikasan began to wash himself as well but upon starting, Cremisi started to clean his muzzle. Kalikasan jumped back. "Whoa, not in front of the den," he gently whispered.

Ular looked at his brother. "You will not do any such thing." Ular growled. "This will keep us all safe Joseph and I need you to be civil as well." He said.

Phantom smiled as he walked into the den with Nadir. "Really? We are having cubs?" He asked.
Nadir nodded grinning.

Dragon padded the clearing where he and his father shared a den. As he got closer he saw his friend and royal healer Noctos. His head was hung low and Dragon knew. "Sir he is gone. He left us after you left." Noctos said softly.
Dragon stops and shakes his head trying not to cry. "I must see him." He said softly padding into the den.

Joseph-Hunter backed down immediately at Ular's growl, lowering his head to respect his older brother. He didn't want to agree but he knew he would have to eventually; his brother had ways to make him agree, he knew.
Stephano glanced in from the entrance, his claws still scoured against the rock. "I'll make sure your family is safe," Stephano called inside to Joseph-Hunter.

Cremisi chuckled slightly. "I know but I just wanted to help you clean your muzzle. It's rather bloody," he replied. Kalikasan still kept his distance but tried to wash it off himself.

Ular looked out at Stephano. "His family will not need protecting. They will be safe." Ular said sharply. "The Tigerobra will still leave in their dens and homes they have now just they will join us for meetings and the royal guard." He said. "I will say this if anyone defies my wishes to be civil they will be exiled." He growled.

Nadir purred loudly. "High Queen Landi says that I've been pregnant for about a month now and she thinks with the rate I'm growing that we are going to have 3 to 4 cubs." She said looking at Phantom.
"Really 3 to 4 cubs?" he said his astonishment growing.

Dragon slowly got up from we're his father had been buried. Today was the day that he had to make the announcement. He turned and saw Terbang flying toward his den now. Dragon raced away to see what High King Ular had to say. When he got there Terbang was preening his feathers. "Terbang?" He squeaked. "What have you to deliver?" He asked his voice stronger this time.
Terbang stopped in his preening and looked at the Tigerobra. "High King Ular said to make your announcement and meet him at sunhigh in his den." He said.
Dragon nodded and watched the crow take off.

Stephano lowered his gaze and hood to shrink back from Ular. He knew when he wasn't to say something but Stepahno knew it was useless to say anything to Joseph-Hunter while Ular was awake. Joseph-Hunter reluctantly nodded before he asked, "Are we done then?"

Cremisi finished washing off his own muzzle and cleaning his hood as Kalikasan was washing his muzzle.

Ular looked at his brother. "Joseph don't not disobey me." He growled before flicking his tail dismissively. He hated being that way to his brother but he knew how hard headed Joseph was. He sighed as he watched he brother pad out of the den.

Nadir purred loudly nuzzling Phantom, who really hadn't said much. "Phantom are you okay?" She asked.
Phantom looked down at her and smiled. "Just ready to be a dad." He said purring loudly.

Dragon roared calling his people together, knowing they didn't live far. "Welcome everyone. I have a few announcement." He began. "First of all High King Tenebre, my father is dead. The disease that struck him took his life a few days ago." He said hearing grieved roaring as well as some roars of congratulations. "Now secondly, there will be a merger, of our community and the Tigerondas." He began but was cut off by roars of protect. "SILENCE!" he roared over them all. "This is my decision. I will be your king but High King Ular will be supreme and anyone who disobeys him will be exiled and beaten." He growled loudly. "Understood?" He asked watching all nod. "That is it meeting dismissed." He said jumping down from his den and making his way toward the border to meet with High King Ular.

Joseph-Hunter headed out of the den, grumbling under his breath. Though he knew Ular was doing what was best, he resented the Tigerobras and everything they stood for. "Stephano, make sure Kalikasan is taught well. He wants to be the best so make him the best," he commented before running off toward his territory.
Stephano looked after Joseph-Hunter and sighed, relaxing his shoulders and pulling back his claws. They had left quite a mark in the stone in front of him.

When Kalikasan had finished, he was ready to head to bed. Yawning, he got up, letting Cremisi know where he was headed. Cremisi wasn't allowed in their family's den but he had made a nice partial den nearby under a bush. It was a bit crowded but it held him nicely, only occasionally leaking the rain inside.

Dragon padded into the clearing that opened up to High Stones where High King Ular lived. He looked around having seen this place only a few times in his life. That's when he spotted the huge golden Tigeronda standing outside the entrance. He slowly padded up to the den entrance. His hood flatten slightly showing the golden Tigeronda that he wasn't here to fight or hurt anyone. "I'm here by request of High King Ular." He said softly, though it wasn't all that soft with his gravely voice.

Phantom lay in the den with his mate purring and nuzzling her when he heard a caw from outside. Slowly he got up and padded outside after apologizing to his lovely mate. "Terbang." He said when he saw the crow. "What can I do for you?" He asked.
Terbang looked at him and shook his head. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but High King Ular has sought you at and demands your presence at High Stones immediately." Terbang said looking at the captain of the royal guard.
Phantom sighed softly and nodded. "I'll be there soon." He said bowing slightly to the crow. He turned back toward his den and waiting mate. "Nadir my love, I must go for a while. High King Ular has demanded my presence at High Stones. I shall be back soon I promise." He said nuzzling her softly. "I love you." He purred in her ear.
