When Stephano awoke the next day, his eyes opened slowly. He felt a strange heaviness at his side. Confused, he raised his head and remembered why, seeing the green Tigeronda next to him. Purring, he gently nuzzled her. "Morning, Suroka," he said gently.

Stephano smiled at her as he got up. He shook out his fur after his stretching, smacking his lips. "How'd you sleep?" he asked her, nuzzling her.

Suroka slowly stretched each of her legs in turn yawning widely before looking at him. "Rather well." She purred as he nuzzled her and nuzzled him back.

"That's good to hear. Are you hungry? I can catch you something," Stephano said through his purrs. He was eager to show her he could catch anything again though he knew he probably didn't need to.

Stephano nodded as he looked back towards where they had come. "What do you think we should catch them? A deer? A moose?" he asked.

"Haha, very funny," Stephano chuckled, knowing the use of sarcasm. "But I mean...like where did you grow up? Do you have any brothers or sisters? What are your parents like?"

"I'm, sorry to hear about your parents. Nadir seems nice though. I'm glad she and Phantom get along," Stephano replied, keeping to her pace and not forcing to move faster.

Stephano scented some prey nearby and halted, inhaling the scent through his mouth. "Either that's moose or that's caribou..." he said as he crept forward, staying low as he followed the scent to a clearing a few paces away.
