Maua purred softly as she lay there. She had hoped Altair was going to mate her, then she would be his but that hadn't happened yet.

With a low growl inwardly, Altair got up and walked over to Maua, keeping himself calm. "Um...Maua?" he asked, hoping his front legs would hide his show.

"Uh..." He wasn't entirely sure how to go about talking to her about what he'd like to do. "Well...you've seen how the other animals are acting, right?" He guessed that was a good start.

"Um, well..." Altair rocked back and forth on his paws, glancing to the sides. He didn't like how he was going to word his next sentences. "Well, it's mating season for all animals, it seems. Hell, the birds and the bees are doing it..." He hoped the joke would help somewhat as he gently chuckled.

Altair felt his fur heat up at her nuzzle, at her warmth, at her fur touching his. He could barely contain himself as he blurted out, "Wouldyoucareifwemated?" He closed his eyes as he waited for her answer.
