Halos soon fell asleep in his mates paws smiling.
Hollow shook his head and looked at his mate. "Yes love." He said softly.
Remy shook his head and padded over to his father.

Ryonis purred happily and he soon fell asleep as well.
"What shall we name the cubs?" Summer asked him. "Remy and Rourk have given suggestions but someone needs to be the deciding vote."
Rafe looked silently up at the darkened sky.
Rourk frowned and glared at Remy.

Halos slept soundly in his mate's paws.
"Well let me here the suggestions." Hollow said softly.
Remy stepped up and smiled. "I said Lithium for the male and Marama for the female." He said to his father.

Ryonis snored softly as he slept with his mate.
Rourk stepped forward. "And I said the awesome names of Tiny for the male and Pipsqueak for the girl." he piped in, his chest slightly puffed out pridefully that he had chosen such 'awesome' names.

Halos snuggled into his mate as he slept.
Hollow thought for a moment. "I think Remy's names are better." He said looking at his sons. "Rourk you should be nicer and start paying attention to your teacher." He said. "She talked to me and told me you pay more attention to the clouds than her. It's enough. It you can't pay attention I will put you to work as an apprentice guard." Hollow said gruffly. "Remy and Jackal, I'm glad to hear you are both doing well." He said turning to Rafe. "And you my son, I'm glad to hear you are the top of the class. I'm proud of you." He said.

Rourk glared at his brother when their father chose Remy's names over his. Then his father started scolding him about his schooling. "Yeah well the cloud's are more interesting." He grumbled quietly, pouting and with his fur puffed out a bit in annoyance.
Rafe flicked his ear in acknowledgment to his father's praise as he laid down in a corner wanting to get some sleep.
"Oh well done all of you!" Summer exclaimed, proud of her cubs for doing well in their schooling. "Though Rourk you really should try to pay better attention." She said to him, giving her cub a gently lick on the cheek to which he quickly wiped off with a paw.

Hollow sighed as he went outside to sit under the oak. He shook his head as his mind wandered.
Remy looked at his mother and smiled.

Summer watched her mate go out and then she smiled back at Remy and nuzzled him gently.
Rourk huffed as he stood up and went over to grab a stick that was laying by the wall. He picked it up in his jaws. "Hey Jackal! Let's play a game!" He shouted around the stick in his mouth.

Jackal looked at his brother and shook his head. "I'm tired." He said with a yawn.
Hollow watched as the sun began to set. He was trying to figure out what was wrong with his sons. Rafe didn't speak and Rourk wasn't stepping up to the plate.

Rourk frowned. "Fine. Remy?" Rourk asked next.
Summer heard soft mewing as the little ones began to wake and she watched them as they turned over but went right back to sleep.

Remy shook his head with a yawn as well. "Not right now." He said as he curled up and placed his tail over his nose.
Hollow sighed softly as he padded back inside.

Rourk sighed and dropped the stick before curling up, his fur bristling in annoyance that no one would play with him.
Summer saw her mate come back inside and she smiled at him.

Hollow looked at her and smiled slightly before seeing his cubs ready to sleep. "I'll stand guard." He whispered softly to his mate.

Summer nodded. "Okay." She looked around at all her cubs. She wasn't sure if there was a point to announcing bed time since they were already curled up to sleep. Instead ahe just went to each of her cubs and licked their heads softly, saying a small 'sleep well,' to each of them.

Hollow watched his mate silently, before stepping out into the night air. He smiled as it ruffled through his fur. The scents of his kingdom and the prey around wafting up to his nose.
